Second Term First Continuous Assessment
February 18, 2024
Dear Parents,
We hope this message finds you in good health and high spirits. We are writing to inform you about the upcoming Continuous Assessment Test I for our pupils and students, which will take place on 19th February – 23rd February, 2024.
The Continuous Assessment Test serves as an important evaluation tool for students to showcase their understanding of the subjects covered in the first half of the current academic term. It allows teachers to assess progress and provide valuable feedback to help improve further.
To excel in this assessment, we strongly encourage all students to dedicate ample time for studying and preparation. This includes reviewing class notes, textbooks, and supplementary materials provided by your teachers.
Parents, we kindly request your support and cooperation in ensuring that your wards are well-prepared for this assessment. A proactive approach to monitoring your child’s study habits and providing a conducive learning environment at home will greatly contribute to their academic success.
We recommend establishing a study routine, eliminating distractions during study hours, and encouraging regular revision sessions. Engage in meaningful conversations about their subjects, offer assistance when needed, and provide positive reinforcement to motivate their learning journey.
Please note that only students/pupils with at least 80% school fees payments will be allowed to sit for the test. Remember to bring all necessary stationery and calculators for subjects that require them.
We wish all students the very best in their preparations for Continuous Assessment Test I. Embrace this opportunity to showcase your knowledge and abilities. Remember, success comes to those who put in the effort.
Best regards.
Our Career Day 2024 was a huge success!
February 14, 2024
Our Career Day 2024 has come and gone. It will indeed remain a remarkable and memorable day in the heart of all of pupils.
Career days give students an up-close-and-personal view of an array of occupations, especially ones they have never heard of. It broadens their perspectives beyond classic, familiar jobs such as teacher or firefighter. They also can learn what skills and education are required for the industries and fields they have interest in and potential aptitude for and have the opportunity to ask questions.
Our pupils were enlightened and educated on various careers that they admire and would love to go into. Career Days enable children to start early and show interest in their admired professions so that they will bloom to become better professionals.
IMPORTANT INFORMATION ABOUT THE MIDTERM BREAK
February 23, 2024
APPRECIATION We would like to wish all our school community a very happy, healthy Midterm break. We are continually in awe of the dedication and hard work of all, the creativity and innovation of our staff, and the resilience and engagement of our students. We hope that everyone gets an opportunity to relax, refresh and reflect in the coming days. Many thanks to all who have given their all during this term.
DISCIPLINE
The management is determined to produce students who will not only be useful to themselves, but also the world at large. The wise saying of Martin Luther King is apt: “Intelligence plus character – that is the goal of true education.” To this end, all our students must be well formed and be morally upright – which is still a work in progress. The school will no longer tolerate indiscipline under any guise.
We, therefore, enjoin our parents to support us in infusing the right values and virtues in our children especially in keeping simple rules and instructions. The management will stop at nothing in ensuring that the school’s rules and regulations are strictly adhered to. Flagrant violation of our dressing ethics will not go unpunished. We strongly appeal to our parents to ensure that their children and wards conform to the school’s policy on dressing /appearance.
PAYMENT OF SCHOOL FEES
We implore our esteemed parents to be more frontal in paying our children’s school fees. The current practice of paying fees by many of our parents is rather prosaic. To all intents and purposes, the prompt payment of fees will conveniently allow the school management to plan well and also meet its financial obligations. We cannot be too persuasive and convincing to our parents on this vital issue, suffice it to say that students that have not fully paid for the second term will not be allowed into classes on resumption for the second half of the term on 4th March, 2024.
HOLIDAY ASSIGNMENT
In keeping with our tradition, we have given all our students midterm assignments/projects to do during the short holiday. Parents are advised to closely monitor or supervise their children/wards to make sure that these assignments are thoroughly done. No excuse(s) will be entertained for failure to attend to these subjects’ assignments.
CONCLUSION. Once again, the management wishes to thank our dynamic parents for their unalloyed support in the first half of this term. Let it be boldly said that the management is ever open to constructive ideas and suggestions that will make Folbob School a much better place for learning and accomplishments.
Thank you all.Management.

We hope this message finds you well. We wanted to reach out and provide you with an update on your child's return to school after the mid-term break.
First and foremost, we are thrilled to have your child back with us. We trust that the break provided them with a well-deserved opportunity to relax and recharge, allowing them to return to school with renewed focus and enthusiasm.
Upon their return, we will ensure a smooth transition back into the academic routine. Our teachers will take the time to recap and consolidate the topics covered prior to the break, ensuring that your child feels confident and prepared for the upcoming lessons, continuous assessments and examinations.
We have also planned some exciting activities and events for the remainder of the term. These will not only enhance their learning experience but also provide opportunities for personal growth, collaboration, and creativity.
