APPRECIATION
We would like to wish all our school community a very happy, healthy Midterm break. We are continually in awe of the dedication and hard work of all, the creativity and innovation of our staff, and the resilience and engagement of our students. We hope that everyone gets an opportunity to relax, refresh and reflect in the coming days. Many thanks to all who have given their all during this term.
DISCIPLINE
The management is determined to produce students who will not only be useful to themselves, but also the world at large. The wise saying of Martin Luther King is apt: “Intelligence plus character – that is the goal of true education.” To this end, all our students must be well formed and be morally upright – which is still a work in progress. The school will no longer tolerate indiscipline under any guise.
We, therefore, enjoin our parents to support us in infusing the right values and virtues in our children especially in keeping simple rules and instructions. The management will stop at nothing in ensuring that the school’s rules and regulations are strictly adhered to. Flagrant violation of our dressing ethics will not go unpunished. We strongly appeal to our parents to ensure that their children and wards conform to the school’s policy on dressing /appearance.
PAYMENT OF SCHOOL FEES
We implore our esteemed parents to be more frontal in paying our children’s school fees. The current practice of paying fees by many of our parents is rather prosaic. To all intents and purposes, the prompt payment of fees will conveniently allow the school management to plan well and also meet its financial obligations. We cannot be too persuasive and convincing to our parents on this vital issue, suffice it to say that students that have not fully paid for the second term will not be allowed into classes on resumption for the second half of the term on 4th March, 2024.
HOLIDAY ASSIGNMENT
In keeping with our tradition, we have given all our students midterm assignments/projects to do during the short holiday. Parents are advised to closely monitor or supervise their children/wards to make sure that these assignments are thoroughly done. No excuse(s) will be entertained for failure to attend to these subjects’ assignments.
CONCLUSION.
Once again, the management wishes to thank our dynamic parents for their unalloyed support in the first half of this term. Let it be boldly said that the management is ever open to constructive ideas and suggestions that will make Folbob School a much better place for learning and accomplishments.
Thank you all.
Management.
